We like to take a drive up to Lake Merwin and Yale Lake. The scenery is beautiful anytime of year. Stop at the Country Store in Cougar. You might find something interesting there. There are a couple of parks that do have a fee. The...More

If you are going up country from Woodland, say to Cougar, then be very careful driving as the roads are very curvy and sight lines are sometimes short. Do be courteous - if you lead a stack of cars behind you - just pull over...More

This is a local attraction for us. Its a great scenic drive on a Sunday afternoon. We do it often and never get bored with the drive.

This is a really nice drive there are lots of parks along the way with river access. There was a little road construction that looks like it will be ongoing that delayed traffic quite a bit as you leave Woodland .

Once you get out of town a ways, there are plenty of trees & a nice drive along the river. There are a few boat launches and little places to swim.
