Excellent staff who really understand the wines and are very pleasant! This is one of the older Washington wineries and is often under appreciated. The wines are of excellent quality and are well priced.

Very accommodating wine tastings. We tried a few and bought a bottle of the Cabernet blend. Very friendly servers. I believe wine tastings were $10

We stopped at J. Bookwalter and had a great wine tasting experience. The quality of the wines were exceptional and the server was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We also had the hummus plate as an appetizer which was fabulous.

This was my second visit to J. Bookwalter. I had been there the previous summer and thoroughly enjoyed my experience, but I was floored when I walked in almost a year later and Brendan behind the tasting bar recognized me and recalled our conversation. No...More

They charge $10 for a tasting which seems steep to me. The wines were good but the location was just ok. The person doing the tasting was very knowledgeable. They steel half bottles which we really liked.

A perfect place to taste some of Washington State's best wines. The tasting studio is a comfortable space, and the staff is pleasant and knowledgeable. The titles given to the various wines reflect the "Book" in the company name - "Antagonist" (a syrah); "Foreshadow" (cabernet...More

There are many tasting studios in the “Hollywood District” of Woodinville, but J. Bookwalter was far and above our favorite. In fact, we loved it so much that we went back a second day, bringing along more family members (including my brother who lives in...More

We love this place. They obviously have wine tasting, but we typically just go for a glass or a bottle of wine; perhaps with friends as well. They have plenty of seating indoors (comfy) and outdoors: wow! What a nice patio area. The best in...More
