What a gem! My husband and I stopped in for a tasting while driving up to Vancouver during our anniversary trip this November and I'm so glad we did. The people here were SO FRIENDLY, especially compared to some of the other stops we visited. The ambiance was quaint and nice, with plenty of tables/chairs and a fireplace. My husband... More

This is the largest winery in Woodinville and the most commercial. The grounds are lovely and the tour is very interesting, as you get to see the bottling process. If you take the 30 minute guided tour, you end up in the tasting room and get to taste 4 or 5 wines. The wines we tasted were okay, but nothing... More

Friendly staff.$12.00 for tasting of 5 wines 1 ounce fill. No tour of process. Bottles only sold at winery or to restaurants. If you like you can buy on site and tasting cost will be applied to purchase of wine.

New to the area, neighbors took us to Columbia Winery on a gorgeous blue-sky fall afternoon. They had a membership so we sat outside in a lovely setting and selected food from the snack menu to share with the pourings. The woman who did the pouring made certain our glasses were never empty for very long and the food, a... More

I had high hopes for Columbia WInery. It was a beautiful day and had wanted to do some tastings with a cheese plate. When I asked about sitting outside I was told that no one was working outside and they would try to remember us if we sat outside. With all the seating inside and outside on the patio it... More

If you are visiting Seattle and enjoy wine even a little bit, you must make the side trip to Woodinville, where there are hundreds of tasting rooms. There are two Grande Dames- Chateau Ste Michelle and Columbia. Of the two, Columbia is smaller and friendlier. In the summers they have intimate outdoor concerts (literally, 20-50 people) featuring local artists. They... More

Thank you for your review! You're right, we do have events year round. We think that live music by the fireplace on a rainy day is just as fun as live music outdoors in the sunshine! More

We came for a wine tasting ($12, a bit pricey) and stayed for a glass of wine and two flat bread pizzas. We asked the server for a recommendation. She suggested the tart flambé flat bread pizza and it was awesome. A great place with atmosphere for wine tasting.

Thank you Carl for your kind review. Did you know that you had a domestic brie, a local cheddar, and a Spanish sheep milk cheese on your cheese plate? Our chef tries very hard to provide cheeses that you might not taste anywhere else. We are so glad you enjoyed your visit here (The Tarte Flambe is one of our... More

Had a nice tasting and lovely cheese plate. Feels quite modern and we prefer the older feel to a winery, but it is very lovely and worth going there.

We aren't big fans of Columbia wine but really enjoyed the tour. We learned so much about the different regions of south-eastern Washington where the grapes are grown, and how the soil had developed as it has. Our tour guide was better than excellent.

Nice place - plenty of parking and attractive setting. Big room inside though most of it is wasted space. Small bar for tasting. Pleasant people. Wine is good, rather dry, not great, and prices are high.
