It's a nice drive.We visited Big Twin Lake Campground. It's very nice and has hookups and Tent sites. Very quiet, fishing and row boating. Grass and grounds are well kept. Bathrooms clean.

I think we did all the trails while staying in Winthrop. Our favorite was the trail around Patterson Lake. The views are stunning and teaming with wildlife and of course lots of trout in the lake. A fantastic way to spend a couple of hours....More

This area is just beautiful place to see. Interesting things to see like hills, valleys, wildlife and small towns. Take your time get out of the car once in a while and enjoy.

this done mountain biking.we did the loop 29 mile can include other places they have sytem of trails that connect to sunny side trail thenpatterson lake trail .This a great single track ride .lots of crazy up downs well worth the adventure.

Lovely drive with many many places to stop an take pictures. Might not do this on a rainy day, but on a sunny day the views are fabulous.

Being motorcyclists, coming to Winthrop is a must. Great town. Great riding on the blacktop around Winthrop (especially Highway 20).
