Some friends and I on a road trip decided to stop in almost last minute for an afternoon raft tour. The folks at Wet Planet were very accommodating and got our party booked for the afternoon hassle free. As a first time rafter I wasn't sure what to expect but the experience was seamless. Special shout out to Sid (AKA "Squid) for her hilarious but thorough orientation briefing that set the tone and let us know it was gonna be a good time if we followed some simple rules. Our raft guide Scott was excellent and made sure we all knew our roles and felt comfortable as he safely navigated us through multiple class 4 and 3 rapids. After the first 20 minutes getting the hang of it, it was an absolute blast and would highly recommend Wet Planet and any of their guides (but especially Scott and Sid) for new or experienced rafters. Thanks for a safe ride and a great adventure!

My buddy and I had the opportunity to raft down the White Salmon recently with the folks at Wet Planet. I cannot recommend them enough. Our trip was an entire day, with lunch, consisting of four rafts filled with happy people and four experienced guides. The morning was thrilling, the afternoon had some thrills and some more relaxed times. The river was beyond beautiful, so much so that I got emotional a couple times - that we live on such a lovely planet and get to experience it so intimately now and then is what I think life is about. The Wet Planet folks provided us everything but bathing suits. We were well outfitted and very cared for. Our guide was funny, charming, caring, and versed in the history of the river, the tribes who care for it, the critters who live on and in it, and most importantly, he was very skilled in handling the raft and giving us a good time safely. We enjoyed an absolutely perfect day. We are looking forward to our next trip with Wet Planet. Again, I don’t hesitate to recommend them; they’re the best!

Amazing trip, would highly recommend! My previous white water experience was the American River in California and while this was harder, it was also a lot more fun! The trip was good for all skill levels and the guides were very clear and knowledgable. We did the White Salmon river full-day and we were lucky enough to go down the waterfall before lunch. I would highly recommend our tour guide, Dennison, who was great at navigating, giving us a history of the river, and giving us different options to going down each rapid. And also we have to give a shoutout to Thomas who was the guide for the other boat but came with a lot of energy and excitement for the journey.
I'd recommend the full day if you're looking for an exciting first half of the day and a beautiful, calmer, second half of the day.

BOOK IT NOW! Best experience of my life!! We went with a group of 7 girls during a girls trip. We had never been rafting before and the guides made us feel so safe and prepared for everything. Our guide was Kess and she was amazing! I told her I have never trusted someone I just met so much in my life! They definitely know what they’re doing. We had a group of 6 rafts and the guides operated like a well oiled machine. Expect to get wet, make sure you’re able to walk and balance on uneven surfaces and listen to your guide! Excellent in every way!

Amazing & thrilling experience! I would recommend for a family/friends to go in a group of 5-6, as it is more personalized. Otherwise, you can also share it with another group. It was our first time doing river rafting and Ethan (our guide) was perfect for explaining and making the trip safe and adventurous.

We went rafting on the Tieton river with our family - two teen boys, their parents, and us, the grandparents. It was great! Very well organized. Kess, our guide, in addition to being skilled, entertained us with a bunch of jokes when the rapids slowed down. It was a fun and memorable family event! (And glad we purchased the photos!)

we were well trained by Steve before the trip. We knew what to expect. Our guide Niq was the best and took good care of us and guided us with instructions what to do and when. I did go in the water and was scared for a minute but i remembered Steve said i would pop up and smile and then have a good story. I bumped along the river with my feet up for just a few seconds. My wonderful raft mates were right along with me and then a wonderful young girl guide pulled me by my life jacket back in the raft like i was light as a feather and trust me I am not light. Now i have a good story and loved the trip very much. I was very impressed with the staff. Special thanks to Steve and Niq. Much Love to you all. The Wiersma family

I loved this experience! It felt like a great combination of adventure, adrenaline, pushing myself to do things I was nervous about, but also professionally run, which gave me confidence about the safety.

My guide was Durham, who was awesome. Very friendly and kept things light. I fell off the raft at one point which I think would have freaked me out but he responded by joking about it (while also pulling me in), which I actually think was the perfect response as it made me laugh and not panic. All the guides I interacted with seemed great.

Did the half day trip. I'm glad I didn't do the full day as my toes started getting cold (even though it was 100 degrees)! So anyone prone to cold I would definitely recommend some type of appropriate sock (in addition to what the booties they give you).

Would definitely do it again!

I am a 71 yr old lady & Brian is my hero. He was so good at his job we never got hung up or stuck as he navigated the wild water. In fact he steered us to bump other rafts who were. Eventually he became everyone's hero helping us get back down to the rafts when we had to get out to go around a dangerous drop in the White Salmon River. I live on a very limited income so I was only able to afford the ride, but not a $ tip. Instead I can write a good review & recommend you request him to be your guide. Please tell him "Red" sent you. Thank you & keep living till you die.

We went on the full day rafting trip with 3 teenagers. Our expert guides Dalton (our raft) and Sydney (trip leader guiding the other raft) took us on the White Salmon River on class III through V rapids (including going over the 2nd largest commercially available navigable waterfall in the world). The first half of the journey provides many thrills, including an option to jump off a 17 ft cliff (no pressure!). A quick stop in the middle for a provided lunch to recharge. The second half is a treat as you float through amazing scenery, punctuated by class III rapids. These guys work their butts off to provide as enjoyable and safe time as possible. Dalton's technical prowess and passion for rafting is matched only by his knowledge of local wildlife and geology. Respect! Would definitely go again. Jacket (optional) and wet suit provided, just bring your sense of adventure!
