Have been out with the Slammer multiple times over last several years. Consistently great fishing; if the boat isn't slamming the fish in 15 minutes or so Captn Rhett finds them somewhere else. Very professional, very polite and friendly all around crew. Very comfy boat. Have been on others with surly captains and rude crews. The Slammer is my only... More

I went out on the High Life boat today on a 6-person combination salmon/bottom fishing trip. Captain Nick got us into the rockfish and we almost limited out. We tried two different places for salmon, but no go, no show on these elusive piscatorial species. That wasn't Nick's fault and he can't control the weather either. (It turns out that... More

My dad and I went out on the Ultimate with Captain Phil for a bottom fishing/salmon combo trip. Phil and the deckhands, Donald and Cory, were awesome! They were so nice and helpful and they worked fast. We limited out on rockfish pretty quickly using anchovies as bait. They also put a shrimp hook on my line, so I was... More

I went on a Tuna trip first of Aug. 2016 I have no problem with anyone drinking but when it interferes with my time and how many fish I take home it is my business when it costs $625. We were out for the 2 days and 1 person never picked up a pole and the other fished maybe 2... More

Had a great time and caught tons of fish on the 2 day Salmon fishing with Mike and limited out on the weekly Salmon with Nick. Crew and captains were helpful with priorities in safety and catching fish! With less than a full group, the tuna trip almost filled the cooler before heading back. Shoutout to Nick for not ending... My wife and I spent about $1000 on this trip, including the hotel, time off work, driving/gas, dog sitter, etc. We came home with much less than we thought we would in the way of fish, and much worse than we thought we would in the memory dept. On the "Blue Eyes," we each caught a few fish, and then... More

Its a good experience going fishing with charter fishing boats. Its a little pricey but you'll sure enjoy the trip from the boat dock to see the open waters and the view of Westport, WA from afar. I did a couple of deep sea fishing with a friend which allows us to take 10 rockfish and 2 lingcod if the... More

Chartered a salmon trip with Nick on the High Life. He is a new captain, but gear was new and boat was in great shape. He knew the area well and worked hard to find fish. Very accommodating to the needs of every one on board. The fishing was slow, but we still had plenty of opportunities with one salmon... More

Went out bottom fishing on the charter boat "Ultimate" Saturday, June 25, 2016. We limited out in about 30 minutes then went in search of Ling Cod. I caught a 20lb'er. Great time. Capt. Westrick is a good guide and even helped out the deck hands

I know boats do break down, but it was incredibly disappointing to have the boat break down at 4:00 A.M. the day of our Halibut trip. My father flew in from Texas and I took off work and got a hotel room in Westport for our trip. All in all, trip cost was around $800 to not go fishing at... More
