$20 to climb 135 steps. View from the tower for free downtown comparable yet free. Parking was nice, saw all there was to see in 20 minutes.

Was told this is one of only THREE Operational Ocean Lighthouses in the USA. They illuminate the Beam on Special Holidays and Town Events.

I love lighthouses, so I had to visit the Grays Harbor Lighthouse. And for a small donation, you can climb the 135 steps to the top of the lighthouse. Excellent guides explained the light's history and showed the mechanisms including the Fresnel lens. Saw it...More

Went to visit on a Monday before they opened. Easy to view from the road, and there is a viewing area set up alongside the road.

No discounts for children or seniors. It was $5.00/person and there is an age/hgt limit for children. You will have to climb to the top and the stairs can get steep especially the last climb to the light itself. Be safe... More

Yes. You can walk all around the exterior of the lighthouse and get wonderful pictures even if the lighthouse is not open for climbing tours. I did not see any signs forbidding animals from being on the property so I think... More
