Very scenic. Makes for an enjoyable drive. Plenty of good photo ops. Autumn color just starting when we were there so will have to make another trip for the full color later.

You need to go there to appreciate the beauty of this great country. Photos and other media do not do it justice, go there and you will understand.

This area is huge. There have been fires in the past due to the fact that most of the areas annual precipitation falls as snow, but that leaves approx. 300 days of sun a year. When you combine this area with the Okanogan, you get...More

great hike into the mountains. can be tiring with the steep uphill climb and can be slick going down. the weather is nice in Wenatchee sunny skies and warmer temps as compared to the Seattle area.
