This is a total waste time. We were so disappointed. The views of the river would be spectacular if they didn’t overlook the packing warehouses! It is a totally landscaped area including artificial grass which was disappointing. I presumed the waterfalls were natural but they aren’t which makes them really disappointing as they don’t look particularly well maintained. There were no flowers to see other than limited pink geraniums.

I live in Western Washington and am use to lots of different varieties of vegetation, I did not see that here in this garden. This garden is full of Vinca Minor utilized as ground cover, nothing unusual about that!! I have it in my garden. The views of the Columbia Valley are beautiful,!! However, be real careful walking on the stone pathways. They are uneven and have potential to be a dangerous trip hazard. My husband and I visited in October, me thinks spring could be a better opportunity to see their gardens.

We were lucky the wildfire smoke had cleared and Ohme Gardens were open. Three generations went and I was thankful for loan of walking stick available. It was beautiful. Places to rest and enjoy the views. Clean bathrooms and helpful staff. So happy we went. Very relaxing. Go at your own pace and look for gnomes.

To see the area around Wenatchee in it's stark beauty is one thing. To know that is what was here prior to a single family wanting to create an oasis for all time is something else. This is a wonderful garden to wander along the many trails and see the delightful quiet spots created years ago. This garden is not for the mobility challenged. They can see the upper parts and look out over the panoramic views of the valley, but you need to be nimble to explore the vast hillside. Loved our visit.

This is an amazing garden with several ponds and beautiful flowers. A must see in Wenatchee. The story behind it is special as well so make sure to pick up a brochure on it. It is a beautiful place to hold an event such as a wedding.

Of course, I've been back since my family pictures that were taken when I was around ten years old. The place was magical then and still is.

My sister and brother-in-law who live in Washington have been wanting to visit Ohme Gardens for some time and as part of your visit to Leavenworth and Chelan for wine tasting we stopped to visit the Ohme Gardens and were not disappointed. We would love to go back in the spring time when more flowers are in bloom.

However, the beauty of these gardens and the landscaping are so unique to other gardens we have visited. The waterfalls, stone steps, bench areas for sitting from slate rock and landscape were just so amazing. They had plenty of walking sticks to use and I used one. I have a knee replacement and they are helpful when maneuvering the stone steps but there was nothing I couldn't manage.

This was a family visit with no children. We spent about 2 hours at the gardens enjoying the views and taking many photos.

Hard to believe that this hill side has been sculpted into a garden.
Interestingly landscaped to make use of the slope of the land.
Oriental in nature , could use a little more color, around various areas.
Was worth the stop and walk

Staying in Chelan, we decided to pop over and check out this garden. Lots of really beautiful hardscaping. I am sure it is stunning in the spring when the wild flowers are blooming. Some of the trails are more rugged. Wear good walking shoes. Not good for flip flops, toddlers or those with poor balance. This was once a bare hill of sage brush, now it is transformed into a NW oasis. Only water is allowed. Helps keep it clean.

Just an amazing place to hike, stroll or just sit and be surrounded by the solitude. The history of this place is so unique and to think this was created by a husband and wife is mind boggling. Perched on a semi barren mountainside overlooking the Columbia River, the valley views are a bonus, but not the best part. Just so much to experience.
