Yes. This was Sea Breeze Farms. And Yes this is still sort of called La Boucherie. But it's no longer owned by Sea Breeze farms and, while they haven't changed the sign, it's more or less an unnamed restaurant. It's no longer the farm to table dinner and it's actually very reasonably priced.

On weekends they offer a brunch with most items around 12.95. It's seasonal food but they generally offer a benedcit of some kind, roasted vegetables, some sort of ShakShuka or grits. They also have a croissant plate with proscuito and cheese.

They make all their own pastries and the croissants are really great. The Shakshuka is always good; one version had fresh oysters. They also make their own lamb sausage and eggs.

Despite being on a parking lot, it's a very friendly and comfortable place to ejoy brunch. They will be offering beer and wine starting in April once they work out the liquor license from the change of owernship. They also have a patio which, should open once the weather gets better.

I genuinely hesitated to review this, because I don't welcome the potential wait for a table once tourist season starts. But it's really a nice place and I want to see them do well.

The food was creative, although not stunning, and people friendly but when you book a table for a special occasion at an expensive place called the Sea Breeze Farm, you expect a farm by the sea don t you, with maybe even some view, at least something charming to remember ? Well....
picture a tiny wooden cabin on a parking lot next to the buzzy road on Vashon, with no farm or sea to be seen and no breeze whatsoever, and you can turn your magic moment into any moment, but certainly not worth a trip, not at that price, not with that minimalist, uncomfortable set up. At half the price maybe, and yet still under a different name to not lure more candid tourists into it.

My 10 year old daughter and I watch Bizarre food regularly. We love cooking and eating alternative foods. I had to come to Seattle for work, so we watched the Seattle episode and took notes. Sea Breeze Farms is featured in the show. As soon as I saw they did farm tours followed by a 9 course meal I knew it was something we had to do. The tour was simple but great. We all milked a cow and tasted fresh milk. We got a quick intro to the farm and then it was time for dinner. It was 9 courses of amazing food. We went with my son 11, daughter 10 and my mom and I. If your kids are not adventurous eaters it might not be worth it. But if they are the food and experience is AMAZING!!! It was the perfect way to end our vacation. We sat around a farm table eating, drinking and conversing with each other and strangers. It was perfect. George and Rose are wonderful hosts. Loved this night!

Want a unique, fun, and educational experience with a bit of adventure blended in for good measure? Consider attending one of Sea Breeze Farms "Farm to Table" extravaganza dinners. You spend a couple hours out on this bucolic farm with the entrepreneur owner turned farming entrepreneur showing how an organic, self-sustaining farm husbands their animals and fowl. After the barnyard tour, sample some of their delicious homemade cheese tommes and wine. Your appetite whetted, the next destination is their restaurant, La Boucherie, to partake in their ten-course feast headed by his stylish wife. We learned a lot about sustainable farming and the meal was quite enjoyable. The entire experience runs about 5-6 hours. The ferry ride over adds further pleasure and a sense of adventure. The restaurant also offers for sale some of their goodies for the trip home.
