We have attended many performances at the Broadway Center and the facility works well for visual and audio performances. From an audience involved activity to listening to a comedian or poet, this venue has no bad seats.

Downtown Tacoma has been on the go for a few years now. The "keep Tacoma feared" campaign has not worked, as Seattlites and even people from Los Angeles are discovering our gems (and that you can park nearby wherever it is you want to go). Broadway Center gets some great names in a place that is pretty intimate. And, just... More

We went to a Tacoma Opera performance here and the extensively modernized theatre, the Opera company, the performance, the parking, and the staff outstanding. Tacoma Opera is ambitious, does classic opera, light opera and has access to real talent. We saw a performance of HMS Pinafore, an operetta we have heard many times and this was the nicest performance I... More

Went here to see Storm Large and it was fantastic! This is a very small venue so it's quite intimate, which is perfect for a performer like Storm. The sound was very good and viewing is excellent from anywhere in the theater. I would suggest getting the cheaper seats to the side as they are just as good as the... More

For the last two years my husband and I begin our holiday season by going to the Broadway Center for the sing-a-long and tree lighting event. With a cup of hot cider in one hand and our booklet of holiday favorites in the other, we join the overflowing crowd in the lobby and on the lawn just outside to listend... More

Wonderful! I read another review where the individual poo-poo'd the staff. It was wrong. The staff is both friendly and efficient. when you go to events and there are 60+ people in a line, the staff does not have the time to talk about things unrelated to subjects outside the event. Nothing peronal... Just good focus by the staff. Be... More

Great venue for a variety of acts. Old stage with minimal concessions outside. Parking can be iffy for popular events and odd people wander about.

I they don't know you or your donation wasn't big enough no one speaks or greets you when entering to attend an event nor do they acknowledge your presence during intermissiona. P R skills are absent.

With three very different and distinct venues the Broadway Center for the Performing Arts presents many diverse programs and anchors the heart and soul of Tacoma quite beautifully.
