Went here with my brother and young son and there are so many cool books to look at and choose from. Staff was nice especially when my toddler started to fuss around naptime. Highly recommend.

This is what I think a book store should look like. There is an enormous selection and some very unique books for sale. Along with Powell's city of books this is one of my favorite book stores. This is just a short walk from the...More

Good chance you'll be able to find the book you are looking for...and for a good price. I have been coming to Tacoma Book Center for years. I used to sell my books to them for store credit, but that was when I lived closer....More

We found this bookstore on our way to dinner and made a quick stop to check it out. My sons love looking at old books, especially ones on Math, so this was a nice treasure hunt for them. The bookstore looks small from the outside...More

I love going there. Need a book they have it. Prices are good and they are very helpful if you can't find it they will. I go there first and have always had what I was looking for.

I'm a used-bookstore fanatic, so when we drove by this shop in Tacoma's Dome District, I shouted, "Stop, we must go back." And go back we did to this wonderland for book lovers. Unfortunately, we were short on time, or I would have spent a...More

We stopped in on a hot summer day just to browse. We ended up taking home an armload of books. The shop is FULL of books, stacked from floor to ceiling throughout. The books are well organized by subject (even the Fantasy novels were separated...More

Compared to most used book stores, this place is I credibly organized and they accept credit cards! The books were very cheap and the amount and diversity of the books was incredible! It's hot inside, but that's not really an issue if the door is...More
