Museum of Glass -- great artists, great art

Interesting museum that is constantly changing the exhibits, also the Hot House where you can watch glass art being made -- next to the waterfront!!

Chihuly is one of the best known glass blowers in the world. His work and the work of his students is worth seeing. However, if you have already seen it in other locations or been to other exhibits, then this experience will not offer much more. If however, you have never witnessed the glory that is Chihuly...then you better go...because... More

The museum had some amazing sculptures of glass that were very interesting to examine. The galleries are setup to be able to walk leisurely through at your own pace. The furnace area where we watched them form glass was probably the best part.

This was a great place to wander around. I loved watching the glass blowing, we sat in the glass blowing area for at least an hour and a half. Fascinating! I loved all the displays - the colors and designs are so vivid. We were visiting from out of town and the museum was a wonderful place to see some... More

The art displays at the museum of glass are amazing. It's well worth the effort to get out and enjoy what the beauty of artistic glass can offer. The displays are something that pictures can't really reflect. It's a very different vibe when you walk in. I plan to go again soon.

We visit the Glass Museum several times a year. The Chihuly work is beautiful but not the only spectacular glass there. Spent time viewing the exquisite Oriental glassware. Do not miss the hot shop - the glass artists make phenomenal pieces before your very eyes. Cafe is fine. Gift shop is not to be missed. Do not fail to visit... More

I love going to the Museum of Glass--each time, it is watching a whole new "dance" unfold as the artists work their creative magic with the glass and the high intense heat. It is mesmerizing watching each piece unfold as it goes through its many phases. A fun place for families to visit!

The bridge from the Court House and Washington State History Museum display glass by Dale Chihuly. The Museum of Glass has interesting displays by artists from all over the world. The hotshop is the main attraction. Great giftshop and café.
