We love it here! Some days it can get packed but its worth it! My kids especially live the 5 mile drive or all the trails. This trip we counted 11 raccoons just sitting by the road. Always worth the stop or drive!!

I hadn't been to Pt. Defiance in a while but I headed there to play Pokémon Go. Before I knew it I was walking through the rose gardens and down to the beach. It's really beautiful there.

Hike on the beach or through the woods- your choice! If not walking then take 5 mile drive at your leisure, spotting deer and birds. Don't miss the zoo! In summer there's a snack shack at Owen's beach, in winter take your picnic!

Should be nice, but although they are having a warm rain free summer, some rain any month is the norm, so check out the forecast on accuweather before you go so you are prepared.
