Several of us passing through town on a bike ride very much enjoyed the food and ambiance of Garageland. We recommended it to others who went the next night, and they too gave it good reviews. Loved the 50's/60's music and decor ... thumbs up

This place is located in a very low key area of W. Riverside. Some would call it a dive. I thought it felt like an antique store, with 2nd hand furniture, candelabras on the tables, animal head mounts on the walls and funky local art for sale. I liked the atmosphere! But more than that, I loved the burgers! My partner and I ordered different ones and both were excellent. I had a salad as a side dish and he had the fries. The portions are large and delicious and from what I could tell, the ingredients are fresh and local. I really appreciated that the hamburger buns were from Common Crumb, a local bakery. There's a bar on one side of the eating area and a record shop on the other. It works. I can't wait to go back and try a different burger and I'm not really a hamburger kind of girl. They're that good.

This place is very unique inside as it almost looks like an antique store that is adjacent to a record shop. That said, the menu is great, as is the food. We enjoyed it for sure.

This place is a bar/restaurant that is attached to a record store. The food was excellent, fresh and unique. Great beer selection and very good prices on alcohol. There is art on the wall that is for sale from local artists, so overall very eclectic. The only downside was very slow and inattentive service.

Funky cool place. The service was horrible and it wasn't crowded or understaffed so no excuses. My waiter dropped the menu brought water then proceeded to standout the front window on a smoke break with some girls for 10 minutes so when he came back he had to play catch up on his 3 tables. took him 25 min to come take my order. Didn't get much better from there. When I asked for a copy of my bill for my expense account he said he couldn't because they don't have a copier. I took a pic of it. Really really strange experience. The food was really good though. I had the Garageland burger and fries and tried the Brussel sprouts topped with caramelized onions bacon and garlic aioli, best Brussels I have ever eaten hands down. The burger was fantastic too and I totally would go back and just hope for better service but as far as I am concerned they knocked the food out of the park.
