A visit to the Crosby House is truly a unique experience. There is an abundant supply of photos and memorabilia of Bing’s incredible career. But what really struck me was wandering through the home and imagining a family living here in early Spokane. If those walls could talk....

Located on the grounds of Gonzaga University. Bing's boyhood home houses a lot of Bing's awards and some of his personal items. Exhibit is free.

One of the best parts of traveling is discovering the unexpected. I had heard of Bing Crosby but he was enough before my time that i didn't know much about him. Now i'm an expert and totally impressed. His childhood home houses a small museum dedicated to his memory and memories. loved seeing all the products that he put his name on. tons of photos and memorabilia here as well as stories from throughout his life. If you don't see this collection when in town you will have missed out on more than you can imagine. plus its free to see.

This is Gonzaga's Bing Crosby collection, housed in Bing's actual childhood home. It's a wonderful trip back to the decades when Bing Crosby was the nation's greatest entertainer. You remember the Christmas albums, of course, but do you remember all the movies? Do you know about Bing the radio and TV star, the entrepreneur? Here you'll revisit that past, and not just with photos and movie posters, but with the actual awards as well: The Emmys, The Gold and Platinum records, and the Oscar. The staff are eager, friendly, and knowledgeable Gonzaga students; and you can do the whole thing in under half an hour if you want to. The odd thing is: patrons are mostly out-of-staters. Not too many Spokanites show up, the students tell me. It would be a shame to think that the Lilac City has forgotten her favorite son. So come on, Spokane, drop in and thank Bing for all the memories.

Hidden up on the Gonzaga campus, we found this place after asking at least five locals. They’d never heard of it. Beautiful architecture here and in the neighboring homes, which all seem to have been carefully restored. Informative hostess and lots of cool things to see and hear. We didn’t realize what a mega star Bing was!
