The bridge is a major arterial in Spokane, Wa. There is a walking trail, the centennial trail, that goes underneath the bridge. It has some arches that are impressive if you like those architectural things. I used to work downtown and walked many times underneath...More

We walked over this bridge to get from downtown to the Yards area across the river. I love the arch supports below...a post-card perfect picture for those down below. Great views of the river below as you go across.

I look at the Monroe Street Bridge and up the Spokane Falls every day from my apartment. It is a lovely area with great views both up and down river.

Some good placards of the history, some resident homeless people who need to talk to you but kept pretty clean and safe during the day.

See it up close from Riverfront park under the gondola to be amazed by its architecture if you like that sort of thing.

I just love this bridge. I see it everyday and I never tire of looking at it. I love the cow skulls details.

The outlook is ok, but the bridge i# rather dirty especially when you see it from the cable air ride.

It is located right at the bottom of the Spokane falls. Walk all the way down the stairs and view it close up from below. Very spectacular.

Dramatic views of falls/cascades in the heart of the city; the gondola ride doubles back under the bridge (doesn't start running until mid-April). Construction in the area is an inconvenience. Limited nearby parking.
