A small Japanese garden with beautiful structure and some lovely stone pagodas. It was late August and the grounds needed some maintenance but the large lake with many koi were mesmerizing to watch. Serenity.

This is a lovely place to get away from it all. It is soothing with an abundance of water and lush foliage. Dogs are not welcome though. It is a great spot for nature photos or as a backdrop for more formal ones. Repeat visits...More

Do not miss the garden, I went twice because once was just not enough. If you are very quiet, sit very still by the water and do not take pictures the coi will come up and visit you.

Lovely garden but very often too crowded. Big fish in ponds, mini falls, pretty trees. Also close to a street with lots of traffic, so the quiet is ruined. It's a good garden to take kids to because of the small size, ducks, fish, turtles...More

Very nicely maintained, free admission park. Great place to listen to the waterfall and watch the fish and ducks. Enjoy the cool shade and let the stress of life disappear.

The Garden is small but very nice. It is well worth spending a quiet hour or so there to unwind. A special treat was the glint of sunlight on a spider web which made the web look like a CD in the late afternoon sun....More

Loved this special little spot. We visited on a Tuesday morning and enjoyed the quiet time away from it all. The fish are huge! The water features in the park are also beautiful.

I was struck by how clean and simple all the plantings, rock arrangements and pond areas are. Nice area to beat the heat as its all in the shade. Nice short waterfall that provided good backdrop for portraits.

A lovely small garden, places to sit and relax. Not as large or well maintained as the Japanese garden at the UW in Seattle. But enjoyable just the same. Limited parking adjacent to the gate. It is inside and part of Manito Park.

This Japanese style garden is a lovely respite from the hustle of the city but still within the close reach of anyone in Spokane. The Koi are beautiful and mesmerizing to watch as they move slowly through the water. Great photo ops abound!
