Too many places not open until late afternoon, but interesting spot

Really interesting old power plant, turn of the last century. Not much open until about 4 pm so they need more bars and restaurants for mid day. But good for the viewing.

This is one of our favorite places to eat. A friendly atmosphere that never feels crowded even when it is full. Excellent food. I like to try different dishes each time and have never been disappointed. Friendly, fast service.

Fabulous steam punk building. Staff a bit over friendly. Prawns in app were a bit over cooked but very well spiced. Mushroom shitake sirloin was fabulous. Perfectly cooked. Side veggies as well. Same for cashew chicken. Double stacked stout worth a try. Stick with the beer rather than wine list. Chocolate dessert very good.

I had heard this place was great. I had the trout that was stuffed and my guy had lasagna/pasta. We had two huckleberry martinis that were fabulous. The service was slow. The restaurant was not that busy and the menu was moderately limited. My fish was a bit rubbery and there were too many capers.

This is truly a historic place to see here in Spokane - it gives a full history of the building and a great place to eat!

The restaurant is great and it is really cool to walk around however the restaurant food is marginal. Waitress was marginal. Beer was good. Would recommend if you are interested in history not if you want a good meal.

Really interesting building. Fun to look around at- you can really tell it was an old steam plant. We had supper in the lounge downstairs but wish we had sat upstairs. It was very dark downstairs and we would have had a better view upstairs. All the shops closed at 5, and the restaurant didn't open until 3. So when... More

Great service and fantastic food. Highly recommended. The Mug Club down here is somethin' special. Had the "Chorizo burger" and wasn't disappointed. Cheers!

If you are visiting Spokane, the steam plant is a must see. The beer is brewed onsite with a great happy hour prices. Take a peek at the boiler room and old stacks. Staff is very friendly making my trip to the pacific northwest must warmer.

Had dinner here on New Year's Eve while attending First Night Spokane. Our party of four all ordered the Lobster. It arrived fully intact and three of us had a bit of a problem mastering the art of eating it. Our server immediately asked if we would like her to bring us something different. This was after we ha already... More
