This place is so pretty. I wish we could have had more time to visit. I loved walking through and smelling all the flowers. I really enjoyed the Japanese area, it was so peaceful.

I walk here almost every day. All of it is free to visit; taxes support it. Best use of my tax dollars ever! Cross country skiing in the winter on the paths; reasonably priced cafe in the summer.

Love this park and it keeps getting better. Consider a donation to Friends of Manito. They do great work. Littering? Feeding the ducks? See something, say something.

The layout and design of the grounds was like visiting a castle in England. It is a must see if you are in Spokane! It's also free!

Rose Garden, Japanese Garden, and Perrenial Garden are pretty much the same each year. Duncan gardens (for annuals) changes theme each year, this year is the year for pastels. Nice change and well done!

If you happen to be visiting Spokane, check out Manito Park. It’s gorgeous! It also includes the Duncan Garden, Conservatory & the Japanese Garden. It’s also a favorite spot for high school seniors’ photo taking.

Peaceful, quiet, calm and soothing place to sit and just rest and reflect on life as the water fall gives you a feeling of renewal and joy.

If you haven't been here yet- All of the previous answers are accurate. I would add that bicycles are not allowed into the main gardens. By the time you unload your bikes, get off them and lock them up to go into the gardens... More
