I love Manito park. It is a great way to spend an afternoon. You can feed the ducks, walk in the rose garden, play frisbee on the lawns, or my personal favorite check out the Koi and unique plants in the Japanese Garden.

Gorgeous flower gardens and trails. Great for family photos and events, or just to wander around. Family and pet friendly place to visit for free.

The changing appearance through the spring, summer, and fall give reasons to come again and again. Great for walks and bike rides. The Japanese Gardens, Rose Gardens and Duncan garden all compete for your attention.

Even in early October the flowers and plants were beautiful. We were so surprised, and so glad we went. It was recommended to us by the woman in the Spokane Visitors' Center.

If you haven't been here yet- All of the previous answers are accurate. I would add that bicycles are not allowed into the main gardens. By the time you unload your bikes, get off them and lock them up to go into the gardens... More
