We go often to check out the scene. Shopping and food is abundant with easy parking and walking. There is so much to see and do downtown. We love it!

Walked the park, had ice cream, my daughter played on the wagon slide. The rides are her favorite part of the park.

That's really it. It doesn't suck. Just like the genius tourism campaign that so eagerly proclaimed: "Spokane doesn't suck."

There are lots of interesting architectural buildings that remain - so walk around to see. There are some nice shops downtown as well. You can wander into the park and see the falls.

Spokane has a nice downtown area with plenty of stores, bars and restaurants. There is a large mall right on the river with about four levels, including movie theaters and many large department stores. Nearby are several good restaurants so you can spend as much time, and money, as you want shopping, eating and drinking.

Downtown has gone down hill since the 70s. Major stores have left... renovating the park witch does not need it. Construction that goes on forever. Shall I go on. Spokane thinks like a farm town...very few things that make it a "city" Empty buildings....Business continue to close... they don't get it. GROW UP....This is a hamburger and a cold beer... More

There are some very cool buildings downtown, looks like it will be pretty cool once completed. Some outstanding hotels downtown, equal to anywhere across the US. I will be visiting more often for my work and looking forward to exploring more on foot.
