Beautiful park

Spokane has a wonderful park downtown. Lots of nice little eating places and a very nice shopping mall.

First off all the roads were tore up, and you could not get around. We walked around quite a bit, and there was some funk in the air that smelled like a urinal. The area seems to be home to a lot of homeless, but my guess is they live in River Front Park, and hang out in downtown during... More

I've been to many-a-restored downtown in the U.S., and Spokane has done as good of a job as any. They've kept the old and have blended in the new remarkably well. And the old is well worth noting. Peek into the post office, for sure!

Just be sure to end up at the Davenport Hotel, the old building for brunch or people watching, the newer building for a great bar scene.

If you like shopping, taking in the sites, grabbing a bite to eat at one of many restaurants, this is a great place to be and most everything is within walking distance!

Plenty of great places to eat, a great park, mall and of course Atticus coffee! Lots of great shops and usually something going on at the park!

This city needs to fix the streets, that are the worst we have seem in our many trips throughout the US. Where is the TAX money going ?? The streets are bad and dirty throughout the city.

The riverfront: is beautiful especially the waterfalls. The downtown mall is nice but not alot of stores to choose from especially if you have teenagers. The food court: your average mall food chains But overall, it was nice!

I know this review will offend some people; probably those living in Spokane. To be clear, this review is of Spokane only, and not Spokane Valley. As a TOURIST, I found an unfortunate number of people to be rude beyond belief. Driving around trying to find places was difficult with all of the one-ways, lack of signs, construction and lack... I would never permanently leave Spokane... I know kids do, they want the glamour of the big city, but this is my town. I remember the first time I flew into Spokane on a business trip... It was like God sprinkled glittering diamonds into a valley. You can get everything you need or want in Spokane. The youth sport opportunities... More
