We drove up the mountain and saw beautiful views plus a family of moose. Being October, the leaf color was gorgeous.

We went recently to pick huckleberries. It is a great place close to Spokane to easily get huckleberries. There is several areas that are right off of trails to pick. All you need is a WA state park's pass.

Fall colors are spectacular on the mountain and the Nordic ski trails are the perfect place to get in a hike. Watch out for pitch on shoes and paws this time of year.

It was foggy on the day we were there so there wasn't much of a view but I expect it would be spectacular weather permitting. The trees, though, are gorgeous regardless of the weather. Beautiful trees.

I'm not in the area right now, but if it were me, I'd check out weather and road conditions online or give them a call. Have fun!
