Left over from Expo '74 this park has a lot to offer. IMAX Theatre,The 1909 Looff Carrousel, SkyRide Over the Falls, Pavilion Amusement Rides and outdoor covered Ice Palace. It's a great place to take the family. Often there is music in the park and The 4th of July here is a lot of fun.

We absolutely love spending time in Riverfront Park. It is a beautiful, picturesque setting, right in the heart of downtown Spokane, along the beautiful Spokane River. The city of Spokane has lots of activities here throughout the year (Pig out in the Park, Kids' Day, Chinese Lantern Festival, etc.), and there are lots of activities for children and families, especially... 4 stars for scenery along the river, 3 for the confusing bike parking. If you make bike racks look cute instead of functional don't be surprised when people then confuse artworks with bike racks (we were gently chastised for locking up to what we assumed were bike racks. Please, cities, stop making cute bike racks and just make functional ones... More

Seniors can stroll, children can play, teens can bike or skate. TheRiverfront Park is a great green area around the Spokane River. View the falls, use the playground, or just enjoy the views. Makes for quality family time.

Ahh. A city that knows how. When they have a beautiful river with waterfalls running along the edge of downtown, they gifted locals and short timers like us with a park - plenty of space and a variety of activities to accommodate us all. We only had one late afternoon to explore - follow the paths, find the carousel, watch... More

In walking distance from our hotel. We saw squirrels, ground hog and ducks. Beautiful area. Hard with all the bikers who assume you know how the bike trail works with walkers and kids.

This park (and surrounding streets) has something for everyone. Carousel, rides, arcade, fountains to play in, ducks to feed, etc for kids. A sculpture of a goat that is also a robotic trash can. A tram to ride out over the river and falls, A historical site where the worlds fair was hosted, walking trail, for adults. Across the street... More
