Lovely urban park. Lots of space for kids to play and run. The wagon, river and general scenery is well worth a visit. Very relaxing and not very crowded.

There are intermittent fountains kids can run through, a 2-story Western Flyer red wagon made into a slide, and a classic carousel for kids to ride on.

We came primarily to see the 1909 historic Looff carousel which has been excellently refurbished and maintained. The carousel is beautiful and Spokane is very proud of it. It is housed in a beautiful building and operates year round.
