Visiting Spokane means a visit to the South Hill, maybe only Manito Park for an hour. In fall the tree-lined streets are filled with yellow and red leaves that have fallen off the trees. Gorgeous, but a hazard to cyclists. South Hill is definitely the...More

South Hill is the best area in all of Spokane. It is not scary to go outside at night like one reviewer said!! I think he has his neighborhoods mixed up!! Love living here!

I stumbled upon the gardens and was really amazed at how beautiful they were. Very well maintained. Staff are very friendly. Tons of gorgeous colors. The Mock Orange was in bloom which left a wonderful sweet scent in the air!

Upscale neighborhoods with lots of restaurant options and shopping. All they need now is a Costco up there!

We went for Dinner with friends last night and enjoyed a fantastic dinner, good drinks and a delicious dessert. Yummy Calamari for an appetizer, clams done in a wine and bacon sauce with a Banana Foster for dessert. Reasonable, good service and a fun place.

A journey to Spokane’s south hill is pleasant, especially in autumn when the maple trees are in peak colors. The large, older homes are fun to view too. Be sure to save time to meander through Manito Park, the gem of the south hill.
