About
Wind Rose Cellars aspires to be Pacific Northwest’s premier winery for producing Italian style wines. We produce small lots of hand crafted wines from select vineyards in eastern Washington. For white wines, we produce Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Orange Muscat, and a dry rosé we called Rosato. For red wines, we produce Barbera, Primitivo, Dolcetto, Nebbiolo, Sangiovese, Cab Sauv, Malbec, Cab Franc, Petit Verdot, and Carménère. Many of these varieties are very difficult to find in Washington. The Primitivo, Dolcetto, and Nebbiolo are very rare, with around 10 acres total. From the varieties we make, many are around 120 cases per lot, with a total production of around 1000 cases. Currently offering three flights for tasting: all white wine, all red wine and a mix of whites and reds. Taste Six wines for $10.

A nice wine tasting experience. It is very reasonable at $10 for six wines and you can get a two for one coupon from many of the motels including the Sequim West Motel which is not too far from it. On the main drag and with an emphasis on Italian style wines

A chance to taste different varietals such as Dolcetto, Pinot Grigio, made from grapes sourced in Wa in small production. The winemaker himself is on hand to talk about where they come from and how he makes the wines. Delicious snacks too.

We wanted to have a glass of wine and appetizers before going to dinner so we stopped here after having heard about it from friends. The atmosphere is really nice, and it was during the week so there wasn't any live music which they are known for as well. We each had a glass of both their whites and thought they were good, but not great. We had the quesadilla and it was delicious. These are small portions, really small bites just to have something with your drink. The selection was nice and does change seasonally. The staff was very friendly and courteous. We will definitely go back for their music and tasting of their other wines.

Went here for a girl's hour out and loved it. Great wines, great place. Wish I could buy their wines on the east coast!

A great watering hole, place to meet, have a glass of locally grown wine or craftsmade beer, fabulous snacks, and listen to local music! Best place in town for this!

This is the best place to meet up with friends. Great wine choices, tapas, and snacks. AND live music most nights. This is fun, intimate and a must if you are in Sequim in the evenings.

We stopped in for an early dinner and also enjoyed wine tasting. The food was delicious and since most restaurants weren't open before 4:30pm we were happy to find a good place to eat when we were ready.

We were pleasantly surprised by our visit to Wind Rose Cellars. They host evenings with music. We were there Saturday night (8/17/13) and listened to two guitarists while tasting wine and enjoying a small plate of Charcuterie and the Caprese Skewers - delicious! I am not a wine aficionado, but they have a wide offering to satisfy most palettes.

When we first visited Sequim I walked right by this place it's so small and unassuming. I had a delightful surprise last night when I was doing the First Friday Art Walk for September. In the sleepy town of Sequim we found a hopping place to enjoy food, friends, fun, music and dancing. A nice selection of wines, funky art on the walls and on this occasion a 2-person band with a wonderful range of vocal abilities and selection of songs she sang. Even if there wasn't a band, it is a nice place to sit to have a glass and enjoy conversation while sitting down in comfortable chairs.

I had to do some business in this town over the weekend, so I took opportunity to explore the city center in Sequim. What you should know is that this is a town that almost all businesses closed early - very early. I found online that Wind Rose Cellars has live performance on Sunday, so I went. It was Jay Henry with acoustic guitar - a rock genre. Most pf the people are all locals, so people knew I was not from the area. The place was interesting, small, and cozy. Most people were talking, so forget the music.....
