About
We are now closed for the season. We will open again on May 1st. Our family of three generations loves to share our 12-acre lavender farm. The 100-year old barn provides the northern backdrop to thousands of lavender plants with a breathtaking view of the Olympic Mountains to the south. We offer free tours all summer, which include information about growing, processing, cleaning and distilling lavender. Our Shoppe is filled with quality, hand-made lavender products and our one-of-a-kind bud-cleaning machine (aka the ‘jitterbud’) will be shakin’ all summer so stop by for a unique, free, educational farm experience.

Best lavender farm I have been to
Aug 2021
I’ve been to several lavender farms in Sequim but had never visited B&B Family Farm before. It was by far the best lavender farm I have been to. It’s got lovely lavender fields, a wonderful gift shop and a free tour about the different kinds of lavender (and how to remember what kind is used for what) and how they harvest and process the lavender. I came away knowing so much more about lavender and it’s so great to support a family farm. Highly recommend!

Very informative and engaging tour of their farm!

Bruce and Bonnie are super friendly. The tour was very informative (English lavender=edible; French lavender=fragrant!) and meat to see the processes involved. I love that it’s no waste farming!

This was a new stop for us. The Gift Shop is very nice. The staff is even nicer!!
The fields are beautiful. There are outdoor port a potties if needed! They were clean, btw!!
I fell in love with the drying barns! I will attach a photo or two to show! The owner took my photo in one of the drying barns!
Stop in. Support this family run operation!!

Best place for lavender!
Jul 2021 • Friends
What a great place to visit to see beautiful lavender fields and learn about growing and harvesting lavender! It is a family run business. We could walk among the rows of lavender. Betty, one of the B’s, gave us a lesson on lavender. Wonderful! We bought some of their fragrant sachets and lotion. The staff is very friendly. We loved our visit!

We did a short stop to explore. The fields were beautiful. Nicely kept area and farm, a pleasure to walk around and enjoy the purple fields.

Exponential Growth Is Blooming Delightful!
Jun 2021
This being a "family farm" I was concerned how COVID might have affected it. If anything, it's even better, if that is possible. It is a working farm, so they haven't relied on the tourist as many of the other local lavender farms have needed to do. In fact, they have now expanded the number of plants to about 14,000 if I heard correctly during the tour. Yes, they are still giving tours with the same care and attention to detail as before. One of my 3 favorite farms in the area.

Great 15 minute free tour

Excellent farm. Gives quick but perfect amount of informational free tour. Saw the inside of the farm and the drying process with the cleaning and oil making. Learned a great little bit about lavender. Store was very well stocked and we bought all kinds of lavender gifts.

Educational Visit
Jun 2021 • Couples
We were in the area, and stopped by for a visit. We were greeted by the owner of this family operation, and provided with a very interesting education on all things lavender. He first took us to the edge of the fields, and explained why there are so many lavender farms in proximity. He told us of the different varieties they grow, and their uses, and then escorted us to the barn where all the magic happens. Unfortunately we were here a month before the flowering occurs, but this time of year is less crowded and we ended up with a more personal experience. Of course we stopped in to the store and found some things we wanted.

Great family farm!
May 2021 • Family
My family visited this lavender farm on a road trip. The owner met us with a warm greeting and gave us a tour of their barn and processing areas. Very low key and informative. Great little shop with everything lavender as well! Loved it!
