Reasonable prices, lots of good games. Not much more needs to be said! Parking is street-exclusive, so keep in mind you may have to do a short walk to get there. They do also have a quarter machine and an ATM so you can actually play the games if you don't have quarters handy.

Remember a time when video games were teaching us things? Aliens from space, plumbers in the sewers, drug dealers and Russians were the bad guys? That’s my 1980s video game childhood and it was SO GREAT to relive it. Fun atmosphere. Loads and loads of different games. Friendly bartender. 10/10 I’d go back.

8-Bit Arcade Bar is a fun place in downtown Renton to enjoy throwback arcade console games, pinball, pizza, beers, sodas, milkshakes, or just hang out and reminisce.

The pizzas are great and they do have meat and vegetarian ones, somewhat pricey though they are tasty, there are plenty of beer options and sodas and other beverages, they have restrooms, two quarters dispensers, and a good variety of stand up and sit down games to play along with pinball.

However they do NOT have, (or did not when I was there), regular Pac Man, Battlezone, Bezerk, Star Castle, Defender, Donkey Kong, Zaxxon, Asteroids, etc.

So there are many classic games which you would think they may have some of those are nowhere to be found. But it is 2019 and not 1982 so I am sure they are doing their best in that regards.

You can sit outside as well as inside.I would come here again definitely and the only thing stopping them from getting five circles is the missing games I would have wanted to play.

I took my 5 year old here to play pinball and we had a great time. Kid friendly until night time, then it's 21+ (after 9pm?). They probably had a couple dozen pinball games. All were 50cents. Tons of 80s and 90s video game too. Most of the older ones are 25cents. Most of the 90s ones are 50cents. Brought back a lot of memories from playing in arcades as a kid.

Do you like Classic 25c Arcade games? Handmade milkshakes? Mircobrews on tap? You will have lots of fun at this place! Some pinball games are 50c but you can have hours of fun for $20. SoDo pizza and pop can be had. But, ask about the secret milkshake menu or try the beer milkshake. Very family friendly but no kids after 9:30 here. They also have an Outdoor patio to chill out and play some giant Jenga. If you are in the area you owe it to yourself to come down and check this place out.

I loved the Arcade growing up and this a great place to reminisce, grab some snacks and a beverage, and let the kids run around! I highly recommend this for families with kids or a fun adult get together.

Right in the middle of downtown, and only 2 blocks from the Renton Transit Center! This place is great. You have to find street parking, or you can take the bus, but it is in a very walkable area. Great place to hang out! Good hours too. Open from 4 pm to 2 am.

Nice hole-in-the-wall arcade/bar in downtown Renton. My 14 year-old son loves old retro arcade games, so he was in heaven. The place is packed with arcade and pinball machines, with only a few out of order. The place smelled like a pizza shop, and people were enjoying the food (we didn't have any). All machines used quarters, so come prepared with a roll or use the available change machine. Lots of parents and kids there around noon time. As a bonus, there's a used retro game shop next door, and a coffee and cupcakes shop just a few shops down. Nice place to spend a few hours. Note, street parking can be scarce.
