For years, his was a bronze marker in this cemetery - people would be wandering the entire cemetery looking for him. Several years back they moved his grave and made a nice pavilion for him. It is well done, and many of his family members are also buried there. I don't know if grave sites should be tourist attractions, but... More

Seeing Jimi Hendrix's memorial is a zen way to pay tribute to a man, who is arguably the best guitarist in history. There reverence to the man memorialized here is characterized by peace and beauty. Especially liked seeing the kisses from fans on the large portrait. Probably not of interest for those who know little about this star who died... More

If you are in the Seattle area and a fan of memorials, cemeteries, and Jimi Hendrix, this is worth the detour. A beautiful memorial that is clean and well maintained, except for the many lipstick kisses on Jimi's face. I feel it adds to the Rock&Roll vibe. Beyond Jimi is a pleasant cemetery worth a little extra time. Please be... More

For the megafan of Jimi, this is probably a good visit, but for those of us who are really just passing fans, it's not that big of a deal. If you're already in the area, it is probably worth a few minutes. The cemetery is nice, for persons who enjoy wandering around those.

Very easy to find as the entrance leads you right to the gravesite. Exactly the experience I expected to see. Very touching to see all the plots for the extended family are there when required. Beautiful wall tributes for Hendrix including lipstick marks on the walls. Cemetery is very peaceful to visit. A must see for rock and roll fans.

The staff here are fine, we visited on Memorial day and the local VFW were on hand to provide dogs and sodas. This was a visit as I just happened to be in the vicinity.

I realize that this is a cemetery and hanging out in one might seem odd but this is a must see, especially if you love Rock and Roll. Jimi was one of the great legends of rock and roll and passed well before his time. This memorial pays a great tribute to him. While on my visit there, a small... More

A bit of a haul from Seattle, but well worth it. Very welcoming to visitors and well done. The artwork on the walls and in the memorial is classy and well done. Everything is well manicured and managed. It's a cemetery so obviously keep that in mind if bringing children. I think all music fans would enjoy.
