San Juan Island Tour with Seaplane Flight from Seattle

13 reviews
Fly from Seattle to Friday Harbor on a 6-passenger seaplane, and enjoy spectacular aerial views of the San Juan Islands. Flying over the San Jan Islands is a great way to take in the scale of the hundreds of islands, coves, and remote beaches that line the Washington coast, and you’ll touch down in the charming island town of Friday Harbor, which is linked to the mainland by ferry.

This is a well done memorial in a cemetery. Some place to visit for Jimi Hendrix fans and anyone else too.

This is a lovely memorial for Jimi Hendrix and his family. I had no idea he was buried in Renton and this was a really special spot to see. It has beautiful inscriptions and small statues to commemorate a legend. Highly recommend for music fans or history buffs alike.

Not my thing, but curious, having seen it half dozen times while decorating Graves with flags for Memorial day the past few years. I remember the fuss over the family house - local cause celebre. Other sights are more satisfying.

Jimmy Hendix' grave site is in the Greenwood Memorial Park in Renton. You can see the gravesite from Monroe Ave NE if you care to drive by this small cemetery. If you are in the area, you can't miss his grave marker - it is truly commemorative of a great musician and war veteran, who died tragically.
