I went to this park, as it is next to the Hyatt Regency. This park is the total "Family Experience". There is a nice swimming area for small children, with lifeguards, and a playground with new equipment. Both were full of moms with their children...More

Animal control was rude and condescending. He told our family he was almost going to take our golden retriever, who was on a leash, well behaved, and headed to board our boat. The lack of professionalism was unbelievable.

I was looking for a place to take the kids after burning out on city traffic. There were so many things to do here and the park was busy with so many families doing an array of activities. I enjoyed walking the trail and geocaching....More

This park offers a nice ambience to walk around the lake waters and then enjoy 'Fish & Chips' at Ivars which is located within the park.

This park is a great place to walk, run, swim, or just chill. The trail goes along side the lake. Plenty to see as you can watch the boats coming and going and all the activity.

Great location to run and walk. The playground is very kid friendly as well! The location is great as it's by local eateries, shopping, freeways and more!

I went there with a friend on a nice sunny day,and it was enjoyable to walk the path and on the docks. A great place to take pictures, and to just enjoy each others company! One of my favorite places to chi out at!

This is a wonderful large grassy park that has clean restrooms, a dock, swimming area, fishing area, barbecue pits and an Ivars Fish & Chowder and a Kidd's Valley restaurants with ample parking. Watch the bald eagles diving into the lake after fish.

Yes most of the walking area is paved. I believe there are small trails that branch off the main one that are just dirt but the main path is all paved.

Lk. is still very cold. I haven't heard if it's closed to swimming yet..Ducks, Ducks and more ducks is the usual reason for a closed beach...watch for signs...They post "No Swimming"..
