We were so happy to find this park! We were in town for a wedding, staying in a nearby hotel, and suffering in the 95-degree freakish heat wave last week. Then lo and behold - a swimming beach! With actual sand, and grass, and walking trails - and no doggie poops to avoid (dogs not allowed in this park)! Thank... More

If you want to find a parking space, come early. That said, there is a sectioned off area for swimming. I was near the shelter picnic areas, and there was ample areas for picnics. Shelters can be rented through the city, but you need to do that on line, and often months in advance. But there are plenty of places... More

A wonderful afternoon along what has become a fabulous park with two eating options; Kid Valley and Ivar's, both covered outdoor quick stops next to the water. Although parking can be difficult on a sunny day, once parked, the trails and views are exceptional. Nice asphalt paths make it easy for anyone to navigate. However, dogs are not allowed inside... This park can get very busy on sunny days and parking can be a challenge. Good size picnic, swim areas and boat launch. There are also two fast food places in the park, Kid Valley (burgers) and Ivars (fish). Easy access off I405.

Great place to picnic, walk, swim, take kids to play. Sorry No Dogs ($600) fine, No Skateboarding, or Bicycling. Huge trees for shade and well maintained. Plenty of parking and large open spaces.

Great Lake Washington Park with some parking challenges on busy days. The park has great immensities including swimming area, boat launch (paid), large play areas, walking trails and even a couple Seattle area iconic fast food venues all on the shores of Lake Washington. Park does not allow, non-service animals, or bikes. Be sure to get there early as the... More

This is a really nice park located on the very south end of Lake Washington. There is lots to do, swimming. boat launch, picnic, tennis courts or just hang out and enjoy the sunshine (assuming its not raining) On summer weekends it can get really busy

We booked the pavilion for a group BBQ. Fantastic venue with lots of seating, clean and tidy, great views and lots of interesting people about.

Like their boardwalk, especially during the Christmas season when all the christmas lights reflect off the water.
