My Grandparents are buried here. So is Jimi Hendrix. There are so many beautiful sections to this cemetery. So peaceful.

I enjoyed walking my dogs many years here on a leash. I would visit the graves of friends, and contemplate the here after – and pray. I was always careful to pick up after them, and not let them go potty on people’s graves. But now I recently found out that I’m not allowed with my dogs 🐕 anymore -and I haven’t been back since 💙.
(Someone complained and said that someone let their dog potty on people’s graves – – but there dogs that are strays do that—I never have—and ’ve also seen homeless people in here early in the morning‘s) it makes me sad, and I really feel that it’s unfair. This city is really discriminating against dogs now – because of a few selfish people. This is very unfortunate.
It is a lovely cemetery though. I’ve had friends services held here, and they always were really nice.

We make multiple trips during the year to visit Jimi Hendrix grave. Always a place out of town guests want to visit. Nicely done and parking to accommodate visitor's with out intruding others graves.

First thing to note is that this is 100% a graveyard for real live or formerly live people.
This is NOT a tourist attraction beyond the grave of the one famous resident. Frankly, this is maybe a 5 minute side visit on your way to other places.
If you do visit, be classy, don't leave beverages or cigarettes for Jimi - he has passed on and these items are simply trash. If you see families and friends of the newly formerly alive - be respectful.
Sorry to be a downer about a cemetery, but the EMP museum is a far better way to learn about and experience Jimi's gift.

We went to see the tribute to Jimi Hendrix. The cemetery is easy to find, and is located next to a McDonald's. It appeared to be very well cared for. A lot of nationalities were buried there, so it's very diverse. I really liked this one Asian gazebo that had running water near it near the Jimi Hendrix Memorial. That was very peaceful. The Jimi Hendrix Memorial is a focal point of the cemetery. It's a gazebo, has his signature engraved in it, a guitar, a self portrait etched in the stone, and some other stuff. There is a round about that goes completely around the memorial, so if you have mobility issues, or just wanted a photo opp you wouldn't even have to leave your car. It appears that it would be a good place to take a walk, or have as a final resting place.

Came here to see the Hendrix memorial and wandered around the beautiful grounds, so very peaceful. The pergola is so peaceful with the flowing water surrounding it. Beautiful memorial garden for those that have passed and those that visit their departed.

We did a return visit to Greenwood Memorial Park. Its a very nice memorial park. We paid our respects at the Jimi Hendrix grave site. There is also a very nice Asian section, as well as other nice peaceful features of this memorial park.
