I went to this park with my dog. There's a nice interpretive trail around the boundary. With the setting sun, the fields and river views were beautiful. There's a lake in the park that is smallish and muddy, but nice to dally in if you're enjoying a picnic in the grassy area nearby with several pavilions. Dogs are not allowed... More

Bring your camera, this small park is awesome. Walk down the tracks or road to the boat launch, dip your toes in the Snake River. We visited for a few hours, would be nice to camp at. Quiet, secluded, shady, soft grass.

Wawawai County Park is an excellent park and camp ground. It has a hiking trail, historical plaques, a large picnic shelter, water access, and great views of the Snake. I'd absolutely love to camp here some time. It seems like a great place to launch a canoe!

Wawawai is the perfect combination of beautiful views and a leisurely walk. The trail that meanders along the lake is perfect for all ages and has interesting historical information posted along the way. A nice place for a picnic with the family.

A beautiful park in the middle of nowhere with water access and children's play equipment and great camping and a hiking trail with interpretive signs. Also bathrooms! Note; no fee for the park, but a fee for camping

We recently had a group lunch at this park which is close to Pullman; and wow, this park is so beautiful! You can enjoy both blue of the river and green of the grass and trees at the same time! We really loved this park, but there was no children playground which was ok, but smelly toilets were not ok!... More

The campground is beautiful with shade and green grass everywhere. The swimming/boating is super for kids. The only challenge we had were the restrooms....they are composting latrines and super smelly. Lots of bugs and just pretty much icky. No lights at night but there are sinks to wash your hands. No showers so we brought our own. Otherwise it's a... More

Wawawai County Park is a great place to take a picnic, fish from the shore, and and spend the day in the sunshine. Close to Pullman and great for a day trip during the summer.
