The best part of the trip was our visit to Fort Warden. Great picnic area and the beaches were great. Visiting the two buildings housing Puget Sound marine life was instructive and interesting. We saw a baby harbor seal, probably newly born because of the...More

We did the four hour tour from Port Townsend in the morning. We were assigned a booth with a table in the heated cabin. I believe the boat sat between 40-60 people. Each table sat 4 people so you had plenty of room to set...More

We boarded at Pt Townsend on a beautiful Northwest sunny day. Meandered our way up to Friday Harbor stopping to view the beautiful L-Pod including some young ones, that were incredibly cute to see. We ate lunch overlooking the marina, and did a little shopping....More

We took the 4hr tour on the Redhead with Captain Trevor at the helm. It was a rough and super foggy 1hr 15min jaunt to get to where the Orcas had been sighted, but oh my goodness what a show we were in for. Once...More

Treated my Colorado relatives to a 4-hr Orca trip, and they loved it. Our skipper found a pod of transient Orcas in Puget Sound, including two big bulls. We also saw big feeding flocks of seabirds in Admiralty Inlet. Later we cruised to Protection Island...More

The guides are knowledgeable and the Captain is dedicated to finding you whales. The homemade Blueberry Breakfast Cobbler is worth the trip alone. I have been on the Puget Sound Express six times and I have ALWAYS seen whales. Puget Sound Express is the best...More

This was our first whale watch so I don't really have anything to compare it to but our day was amazing! We did the whole day whale watch with a stop in Friday Harbor (adorable little town). Captain Rob was knowledgeable and First Mate Claire...More

We booked the 8-hour whale watching tour last week. The weather was superb. On the way to Friday Harbor we say 15 whales, some bald eagles and seals. Had lunch in Friday Harbor (not included) during a 2-hour "break". The staff was very informative and...More

The best part of this trip was the crew...they were upbeat, friendly and helpful. Information was provided consistently throughout the cruise. They cannot control weather conditions, so I can't rate them fairly on the actual cruise. The weather was pretty bad--very windy with extreme chop....More

It would be difficult if allowed. There have never been pets on my trips. The engines can be loud when accelerating.... and some days are crowded. I don't recommend taking a dog even if it is allowed.
