Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. I went with a friend and went back few days later with my sister as it was just beautifully, artitiscally done. Go and enjoy, great for any age.

All of the art exhibits are interesting and well hung and the evening poetry readings are a big draw.

NAC always has a good exhibit of Northwest Artists. It is a collection of the best you will find. It's a bit out of the downtown area and well worth the short drive.

This building shows off the art nicely. Popular for the monthly gallery walk. There are also regular poetry readings. Great for locals and for visitors.

Thank you for your review! Have you heard music in the Artists Showcase yet? It turns out that the acoustics are fabulous, especially with the art storage cabinet that was recently installed. The acoustics are a bonus we didn't anticipate when we moved to the Waterman & Katz Building. Visit again soon! More

When I'm in a new town, I love to visit galleries to get a feeling of local art and artists. This is a great one with diverse art media. I noted that I could wander at my own pace to browse without being sold art. They have a juried show August 4-28, 2016, which I'd like to visit. It's presented... More

This public art space is small but filled with the best things. Local themes, local artists, it's a must see in a town filled with wonderful art. A host helps you if needed, it's a very welcoming place.

We're happy you enjoyed visiting Northwind Arts Center. We hope you have the opportunity to enjoy all of our arts center offerings, such as poetry and theatre readings and music also. And, don't forget, we exhibit art at the historic and beautiful 1913 Port Townsend Public Library on Lawrence Street, which is open 7 days a week. More

This gallery used to be on the edge of town and we seldom went there. Now they are two doors down from one gallery and across the street from another and this is nice. Large airy space.

Thanks for visiting our new location at 701 Water Street! We're a 501(c)(3) arts center, and were able to buy the entire first floor of this historic building due to the generosity of community donors. Please come back whenever you are in Port Townsend. A wonderful array of art both wonderful and whimsical. After looking at the collection, I felt inspired to try my hand at something fun and it makes you realize that truly we all have a creative side if we can just let it out!

We're delighted that you enjoyed our October 2015 ANOTHER LOOK exhibit of art made from recycled materials. My personal favorites are the giant sock with full-size sock monkeys all over it (FROM WHENCE THEY CAME) and the CARDBOARD OBAMA. Those were hilarious, but we also exhibited beautiful salmon etched on an old refrigerator door (which sold) and freestanding toddler clothing... More

I had the good fortune to attend the annual gathering of poets responding to works in the juried exhibition. The art works were excellent, and the perspectives of the poets gave me new insights and deeper emotional responses to many of the items. Go if you can!
