We walked up the hill to see the courthouse, drawn by the brick towers. We circumnavigated the building, enjoying the architectural details. Inside, upstairs, we found the motor vehicle department amazingly free of lines.

The courthouse has a lovely clock that chimes and can be hear for miles. I understand it was donated by a mariner. The architectural designs are beautiful and eye catching! I still have more to discover, check it out.

Beautiful building! Love the sentiment of restoring this clock tower situated in the very historic and beautiful city of Port Townsend. But really-the clock BONGS every hour, on the hour. It is VERY LOUD. So sleeping at a lovely inn close by, I was woken...More

Stunning building with a view to die for. A great place to walk around and take pictures. Enjoy the building - all sides but make sure to turn around and see the view too.

Im a sucker for anything architecturally amazing, to me and a building thats over 100 years old with gargoyle facings is worth a visit. Painted and still a gem. You can see this building from most places downtown and a couple places around the hills...More
