We went to the wine and chocolate event Feb 20, 2016. We decided to go to 4 wineries / ciders . We did not buy the package since we were only going to go to 4. Advertisement on the internet said $5 tasting fee if you did not buy the $30 for 10 winery package. Every winery charge at least... More

Excellent weekend at 10 wineries and cider orchards. Oustanding views from the many patios at Marrowstone Vineyard; splendid overall experience here and at Harbinger Winery in Port Angeles. Shout out to Cascadia Creamery Glacier Blue cheese! The only disappointment was the Lullaby Winery where staff were rude and the small warehouse dirty and unpleasant. But the other nine locations were... More

Great wineries on the peninsula-from small to sophisticated but all are great places to stop, sip, and chat with the people who make some great wines. Heartily recommend Olympic Wineries, Harbinger, Wind Rose, Fair Winds, and Camaraderie. 3 of those wineries make a great lemberger- you need to try one if you never have and Wind Rose does great Italian... Yes the people are very friendly. We did not find the wines great at all. And very disconcerting to see a bit of leftover wine from one bottle poured into the next one. Really? No change of glasses between whites and reds either. Hard to take this place seriously.

This is in Port Townsend and has lovely, unique wines. They tend to produce dryer wines, even their "Fireweed Mead." Very nice - wine tasting includes a little tour (small building) but a lot of info about how their wines are made (some unusual ones). Decently priced ($13-30). On a little farm and comes with a breath of fresh air!

We enjoyed tasting a good variety of Olympic's wines, and liked several of them. It was a great way to spend a rainy afternoon.

We had a group to stop for wine tasting at Olympic Cellars and I must say after having stopped at many wineries this is the only one that I can say no one bought a bottle of wine and we all walked out thinking we were bothering them. The wine was only fair and I would have thought you would... More

This is a fantastic trip for anyone that want to taste some great Washington Wines and see pristine scenery at the same time. We took a state ferry from downtown, that in itself was a spectacular trip then headed up Bainbridge Island and followed the highway signs to Port Angeles. Got to cross the longest floating bridge in the world... More
