Great Place to see older and specialized movies
Aug 2019
We attended the showing of Dark Crystal a few months back. Its an older theater, but they modified the seats so you have plenty of leg room. The crowd was participating in the show. It was great. We want to see Rocky Horror there someday.

WE need to support this theater in downtown Port Orchard. Their prices are very reasonable and while they have limited snacks, they are good old buttery popcorn.

very friendly
Aug 2017
We went for an indie film. The woman selling tickets and popcorn was friendly and helpful. I like the quaint theatre (been there since 1914) and the small size. Unfortunately the sound proofing between the showing area and the lobby is poor so several times during the movie, we could hear voices and laughter through the walls. I would definitely go back as the atmosphere is great.

Harken to a Classic Cinema Experience
Feb 2017
Today we go to multi-screen, jumbo-ultra sized screens with lines everywhere. In Port Orchard, you can experience a movie in a more personal way. Classic films, customized events with a staff that truly cares about movies. You're not going to see anything in 3D/IMAX etc. You are going to see your favorite films with tasty, affordable concessions and you can sign up for a VIP program for discounts on events.

Great little theater that shows Indie movies.
Feb 2017 • Couples
We go to this theater often. It is one of the only theaters in Kitsap County that shows smaller Indie movies, and those that may not be giant Hollywood productions...like all of the other Kitsap theaters have on all at the same time! One of the only theaters to show Moonlight first, and keep it on! They also have good popcorn and tea...someday maybe lattes!? Love this theater!

BEST POPCORN EVER! MOVIES ARE GOOD!
Aug 2016 • Couples
Off beat, cultural movies, which I love. You can get a discount for signing up as a VIP member. Next door to shops and local transportation. Across the street from the water
and bus and ferry.

Great old theater
Jul 2016
Ah, the Dragonfly Cinema. Is it new and shiny? Well, not quite but it is still a grand place to see a movie. Often hosting indie films there is plenty of leg room in all rows and good sight lines to the screen. While the concession stand is not huge by multiplex standards, they still have the staples of good popcorn, cold sodas and JuJu Bees. Nice people too.

Great movie time memories!
Mar 2016
By far the best of memories can be had at the Dragonfly. This is a small personal theater with a capacity of 75 or more in the old-fashioned velvet movie chairs with the old wire basket for your drinks. The small size makes it more intimate than the big cinemas. It has the best popcorn around with or without butter and always fresh popped. Its a great investment to purchase the pass-where else can you get a movie for $5.00. We love going to the older movies as well as the small independent screenings.

Memories
Nov 2014
This place brought back many memories of my childhood. I haven't been there for a while but I liked it. It's on the older side and needed new seats at the time as they were a little lumpy, may have been changed by now, but the feeling of stepping back in time and being in a REAL movie theater was fun, the cozy little concession stand was charming as was the whole experience.

This was my first visit and won't be my last

I found this place on accident and saw that they were showing Star Trek the Wrath of Khan in their theater and just had to go. The movie was $7.50 and it is an older theater with older style seating but they had drink holders. :) It reminded me of movies when I was a kid.

They show a variety of older films, if you are in the area it is worth checking out.
