We came up on Sunday and saw way too many visitors there, the next day it was just perfect. A beautiful hike to see it from below. Slippery and muddy in spots, but perfectly fine with any kind of shoes.

Located a short distance from the Paradise Visitor Center, Narada Falls is worth a stop. The smallish parking lot was surprisingly accessible at about 1pm on a Sunday when I visited. The reward to effort ratio favors the reward side by far. It's just a short walk down to a pretty impressive falls with perpetual rainbow. Several hikers stated it wasn't worth hiking to the base of the falls beyond the lower viewpoint. I didn't bother going, but that would make sense. Make this a part of any Paradise visit.

Narada Falls may be the best waterfall sight for just the waterfall. In addition the area has great views of the surrounding mountains at this elevation break. The best viewing is a short hike from the parking lot. However, it is a fairly decent drop to the best viewing of the waterfall. Take time to take in the view from the bridge over the creek for great views. This is a very good waterfall for the unique fall of the water.

Falls were fantastic and the portable restrooms clean enough. Keep walking past the falls for a while - beautiful forest and easy trail even for kids. We took our time walking back up after we turned around and tho all uphill that direction it wasn’t overly steep.

Narada falls is on the way to mount Rainer paradise spot . You have to get into Rainer entrance spot which takes a longgggg time . We had to wait for about 1.30 hours to get in . Once you get in , everything is quick !
First stop to paradise is narada falls . Loved this falls . Parking is tight but is normally available . There is a small hike down trail, to view this falls . Tough for old people and strollers. There are few spots downstairs which is perfect for a photo spot ! Nice spot overall . 👍👍👍

While the walk down is only .01 mile it’s pretty much straight down. There are a few steps down. Railing only in a few spots. Take your time because it’s worth it. You can view the upper sections along parking lot wall and on the sides of the bridge.

Easy well marked stop along the main Paradise road. Great place to stop, easy walk down and up, and get a nice view of the falls. One of the few places that had a real restroom. Multiple viewing spots ... not as impressive as Myrtle Falls

This majestic 168 foot (51m) waterfall, located on Paradise Road 8.3 miles (13.4k) east of Longmire or 0.7 miles (1.1k) west of its junction with Stevens Canyon Road, is probably the most popular and most photographed waterfall in Mount Rainier National Park. The large parking lot for the falls, right along the road, cannot be missed and many people park here and walk to the edge of the lot which overlooks the crest of the falls. However, the best views of the falls are from the viewpoint at the end of a 0.2 mile (0.3k) trail that drops steeply 200 feet (61m) towards the bottom of the falls and worth every bit of the effort needed to climb back up.
From the parking lot, one walks across a bridge over the snowmelt fed Paradise River to reach the trail down to the viewpoint; while crossing the bridge, looking upstream, one is treated to a wonderful view of a clear mountain river rushing over its boulder strewn riverbed. At the viewpoint near the bottom of the falls, if the sun is out, one is likely to be treated to a rainbow in the waterfall’s mist.
The only negative is this attraction’s huge popularity; it is not uncommon during the peak summer season for the parking lot to have multiple tour buses idling and disgorging dozens of passengers to overwhelm the views. I timed the start of my walk to bottom viewpoint as the busses started to reload and arrived back at the top just as more arrived.

On our way out of Mt. Rainier National Park, we decided, on a whim, to see one more waterfall. So glad we did! Don't be satisfied with the gorgeous views of rushing water near the parking lot. There's a well marked trail that takes you down to the main viewpoint. The thunderous sound, cool mist, and spectacular view are well worth the steep trek down and back.
