We were here when snow still covered the mountain and all roads leading into the park. Lovely drive (4 wheel drive) up to the Visitor Center. Great exhibits and helpful rangers. Wish we had time for snow shoes up the trails!

A great place to have lunch and enjoy wonderful 'framed' views of Mt. Rainier. The parking was easy, the restroom clean, the lunch was good and reasonable.

This National Park and visitor center is one of the best places I've ever been. We spent two days, hiking, lounging and just enjoying the beauty of this mountain.

Great place to stop and use the restroom and get a cup of coffee or a quick bite to eat. We brought our four month old and a bunch of family members who live nearby watched her while we hiked up paradise even farther

So, Paradise is the ‘big thing’ in Mt. Rainier National Park. I think it’s probably the biggest tourist attraction (and the busiest parking lot. They say that by 9am to lot is full in the summer. I believe it. It was almost full when we...More
