My boyfriend and I went whale watching with eclipse charters for my birthday treat as it is a dream of mine to see orcas. Unfortunately we didn't see any whales at all. However, this couldn't have been helped by eclipse and they still made sure we saw other wildlife such as sea lions, bald eagles, seals, porpoises and wild goats.... More

Great time! We did not see the resident or migrating Orcas, but we did see and watch for 30 minutes, a beautiful humpback whale. The seals played along side the boat, bald eagles soared over head, and sea lions basked on a rocky island. It was really awesome to see all the marine life in their natural habitat. The Naturalists... More

On vacation visiting Orcas Island we decided to go whale watching. As the middle of October is considered the end of the whale watching season we were lucky to find that Orcas Island Eclipse Charters could take us out. It's a 3 Hour trip and was raining and cold but the boat has an inclosed cabin with heat that seats... More

This was a day trip from Seattle for a search of Whales . It started by Being greeted by one of the owners as you arrive the store front. The day was rainy most of the time , but the boat was excellent inside and out. We didn't have any luck finding the Whales but the Captain made sure we... More

The weather forecast when we were on Orcas Island last week included a little bit of everything so we took our time to decide on a day for our whale watch tour. We lucked out with the weather and boy, did we luck out with the wildlife. This was our fifth time looking for whales. Previous were two in Kauai,... More

We got to see J, K, and L pods. My favorite was getting to see the Humpback Whale. Seals and Porpoise. It was and warm sunny day. It is a trip I want to go on every year. . The Captain and Crew keep us well informed. I learned so much.

Went out August 29th. Let me start by saying I've been on several whale tours. Some out of other islands here in Washington. This tour was exceptionally great. The knowledge of the staff & Captain. The attention to educate people on the whales & the attention they spent with the children on the tour was special. Now to the whales!... More

The lady we talked to pulled down rope that was part of the exterior to help a boater in need (just a passer by) she was welcoming to everyone on the dock and was even inviting people in to take advantage of the AC. My husband helped her with the rope and she gave him a postcard for his troubles.... More

We saw whales, which was the main goal of the trip. The crew was incredibly knowledgable and attentive without being overwhelming. They really try to let you see as much of the wildlife as possible and it's a must see for anyone remotely interested in Washington's wildlife.

We started out on a drizzly day to go see whales. The boat is large, comfortable, dry and has snacks available. After a ride of about 15 minutes, we broke out into the Strait of Juan de Fuca and with clearing skies we followed a pod of 5 whales for a while, then went off to see another whale who... More
