Nice picnic area

A great park in Thurston County. Nice picnic area, swim area. Camping available. You need to either have a discovery pass or just buy a day pass.

Handy swimming spot not too far from where I was staying. Though it was the middle of the summer and hot it was not too busy here. There are good public changing rooms which were clean and tidy plus a handy cafe for simple drinks and snacks etc. As with all US parks the area was spotlessly clean and extremely... More

We stayed in the Pampered Wilderness property at the park. The park is very well kept and has a beautiful lake with wonderful swimming and boating access. There are several picnic areas and picnic kitchens. The campground is very large and very crowded. If you want a quieter experience, go on the weekend. We stayed until Monday and 80% of... More

Millersylvania State Park is tucked away in the woods. There are several miles of walking trails. The park also borders a lake and there is plenty of room to enjoy swimming, boating, and fishing.

Nice trailer camping area. The whole park has great campsites. The park has boating, fishing, and lots of trails to hike. Surprised how nice and quiet it was. The lake is very pretty and has a nice roped off swimming area. Paddle boats and canoes for rent. Nice picnic shelters. Day use does require a Discover Pass. Camp area has... More

My daughter and her family visited the park recently. There are many trails, some of which go right next to the water. The park is used by many groups for activities so can sometimes be crowded and noisy. The water is just right for small inflatable rafts or inner tubes. It's just a great place to hang out and enjoy... More

The rentals for the equipment are more than reasonable. During the peak times, they limit the time allotted per watercraft, but still more than worth the price. The selection for concessions was surprisingly large, albeit a bit on the expensive side for what it is. This is a great weekend day-trip getaway with the kids to take a kayak or... More

Their campground is less than 30min from our house which makes it ideal since we have small kids. Their sites are clean and their are plenty of trails to explore .

This was a trip to see how long it took to drive there and check out the amenities. From my Olympia address to the park was a short 1/2 hour drive. The overnight camping was full; however, the day picnic area had ample parking. I walked out the pier taking advantage of the benches to sit watching other people having... More

Great way to camp with all of the luxuries. Bring what makes you more comfortable, but this place has it all.
