Nisqually Wildlife Refuge is full of wildlife whatever the season. On this occasion we were lucky enough to spot a Bald Eagle, very exciting.

I really enjoy walking here with my wife, but it would be better if they allowed pets. If you stop by in the fall you can pick apples off of the massive trees up front.

It takes a bit to get out there, but the staff is so knowledgable and always willing to teach. They have aquarium tanks and some interactive activities! They also have lots of volunteer opportunities!

We had a great time exploring the area around the Nisqually Reach Nature Center. We were able to see birds and other small wildlife that characterize our region. A great trip!

It's a funky little museum, particularly good for kids. They'll learn about the sea life in the Sound. My wife and I drive down a couples times a week, sit in the car in the small parking area between the boat ramp and the Nature...More

Nice walk. Have seen eagles on several occasions. Sites vary with tide being in or out. Sometimes the boardwalk is a little slippery. Have art exhibits int the entry area.

This was an awesome find, nice walk along shore at low tide, found shells and explored nature center which had wonderful sea life and fossils. The icing on the cake was the photo stand up board with the geoduck and oyster.
