I love to hit military museums when I travel and this one was great. The staff was really friendly and gave me access to stuff I probably wouldn't have had the chance at. All of the planes in the hanger are flyers and they will...More

We stopped here between downtown Seattle and Great wolf lodge visit. Clean, spacious, and cool exhibits. Walking through Air Force one and space shuttle trainer were highlights.

Located adjacent to the Olympia airport, this museum displays a wide variety of military aviation related items including aircraft, uniforms, and artifacts from WWII to present. It's a pleasant walk around with or without a guide. They also have a small gift shop. As a...More

The OFM is a delightful museum, with helpful staff and a host of cool vintage aircraft. The P-51 Mustang and Army Cobra-S model are my favorites. Bring your kids and learn of fantastic history through the aircraft of the day.

Nice collections. Much better than I thought it would be. Kids had a good time. They have reciprocal with other air museums so your entry could be free.

It's small, but they have some neat artifacts. It's cool that you can get on the Huey. Well worth the stop.

Housed in a hanger at the Olympia airport. The collection itself is very small, but volunteers keep most of the planes in flyable condition, and they do fly several at the annual airshow. The airshow is usually Father's Day weekend and includes several professional acts...More

This is a small museum in an airplane hangar. There are a couple of air craft outside that the kids can climb in, but for the most part it is a no touch facility, that is harder for the little kids. They probably have 12...More

Small accessible aviation museum with interesting planes and helicopters and historical perspective. Run by friendly volunteers with admirable enthusiasm. Recommended as a stop for an hour or so, even if not particularly interested in aircraft, for the history.
