This year they did an absolutely great job replacing the walkway, kind of a bridge over a swampy area. The bad news on this date, 6/13/19 the paths through the grass areas are badly overgrown. Not a great problem but there are deer here and...More

This is a small fairly undeveloped day use only park. There is nice beach access and picnic tables. Nice view to the west and sunset. The waves on the beach sound lovely as they polish the beach rocks. The salty beach air is therapeutic! I...More

You can beach walk or use the bbq pits. They have shelters and bathrooms too. No camping and closed after sunset.

Great place to watch the sunset! We also sipped coffee and watched rabbits hop around, seagulls, and a pair of bald eagles making their rounds.

The views around here are amazing, just a moments walk and you are in the middle of bliss. A short walk further and you are miles away with awesome mountains in view, sandy beaches and great waves. Perfect for a picnic, whatever the day brings.

We love watching sunsets at Joseph Whidbey State Park. The views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, the San Juans, the Olympic Mountains, and even Victoria are perfection. There’s great beachcombing adventure to be had as well. One of Whidbey Island’s jewels.

Love this park. This is a great place to go for a hike on a beach or on a trail. There are places to sit, have a good picnic, watch the Sun go down or just enjoy a great park.
