Enjoyable equine trails with beautiful river views. Equestrians must remember that the park is multi use and you may see others (hikers, cyclists) in the park. Most are great. It is a beautiful area and worth the trailer ride to go enjoy!

We drove out to Riverside State Park during our stay in Spokane. We enjoyed a nice walk - the area is very quiet except for the sound of the turbulent (at this time of year) running river. Parking is plentiful - recommend for a nice, peaceful walk.

What a beautiful park. It was worth the little drive from downtown Spokane. River was really moving fast and water was high! I'm in a wheelchair and went across the bridge with my family. So nice to be apart of it.

I love Spokane; a big part of that love is the Riverside State Park that's smack dab in the middle of it. The Spokane & Little Spokane River's add to complete the terrific ambiance. With the Bi-centinial Bike/Sport trail Starting in Nine Mile Falls.... going through park and town.... ending in Cour d'Alene and further. You should see the Motor... More

a short drive from downtown but well worth the time. The park has adequate parking and it is an easy walk down to the river where you cross a suspension bridge with an exciting view of the river. A great view!

The swinging bridge is awesome!!! My whole family really enjoyed it. Perfect place for a picnic and medium strength walking (up and down a steepish hill to the bridge). My 60 and 63 in laws were able to do the walk holding the 4 year olds hand. They did say it was a work out.

We have lived near Riverside Park for the past 10 years. We have enjoyed the views, trails, and scenery innumerable times. There are so many different areas to explore with different features at each. The best part for us have been the trails which are accessible in any season.

We came to this park to do a few bike rides along the trails on the west side of the Spokane River. We rode from the Wilbur trailhead south past the Bowl and Pitcher area. There is a nice variety of smooth wide paved and unpaved paths, plus a few winding low-angle single-tracks. There are some steeper trails, but they... More

We picnicked for lunch at the Bowl and Pitcher area. It can be crowded but not impossible to find parking on a warm sunny day. Its great to get a picnic table by the roaring river. We took a short walk since we were with grandparents just over the bridge and back.
