It is very small but beautiful. I liked that they actually had public trash cans, great camp sites as well.

We are on a 5 week tenting trek and decided to stay here for 5 nights. We had to make reservations. It was $25 per night, plus a $10 reservation fee, plus a $5 non-resident fee, for a total of $140. Check in is required upon arrival after 2:30pm, we arrived close to 3pm, but the Ranger Station was closed,... More

Love the state park the only complaint I have is all the goose poop on just about every square inch of ground. Out side if that a nice place to go if you like stepping in goose crap.

The park is fairly well maintained, bathrooms are fairly clean. I only say fairly to both because it could be improved but this isn't an owner problem it's a finances and lack of staff problem. Swimming, fishing, play space for young kiddos. Catch a salamander or hike the maze of trails around the lake. It's a beautiful setting but usually... More

There is calm water, well marked zones for swimming and small boats, a nice wide sandy beach with refreshments nearby, fishing available on the bridge and ample available parking with a Discovery Pass. If hiking is your thing then the well marked trails are waiting for you along with the well thought out camping sites, A quiet place, great flora... More

One of the most scenic little state parks. You cannot go wrong camping or swimming or hiking in this park.

Very nicely run Washington State Park. The place was exceptionally clean and designed for the handicapped person. We had absolutely no trouble getting our disabled grandfather down to the water to fish for trout. He actually caught 3 nice sized trout in a couple of hours fishing. We had a great lunch and really enjoyed the campground!

This is a great park with plenty of hiking trails, beautiful things to look at and great campsites. There is a concession during summer months that I've never tried but I'm sure makes it nice when you're camping and don't feel like dragging out the camp stove. It's VERY near the town of Montesano but you feel like you're deep... More
