I had the calamari lunch with sweet potato fries. I thought I would get a few pieces....I couldn't eat them all. It was huge and perfectly cooked. Not one bit rubbery. The fries were crunchy and I enjoyed it immensely. We will be back!

The weather around Long Beach, Wa in the summer is perfect! The heat of the inland is not applicable to here at the beach. Gentle breezes and 10-20 degrees cooler than Portland, Oregon or Seattle, Wa The course had a ROUGH winter but the staff has brought it into shape. It IS a 9 hole course but you can get in 18 0r 27 holes EASILY most days. It is not crowded (whenever I play here) and the twilight and SUPER-TWILIGHT rates are great. It doesn't get dark here at the coast until 9-930 and so IF you go for the super-twilight rate at 6 pm, you can easily play 18 holes with a cart for $15. Also, the COVE restaurant is on site and has excellent food.

Played golf at Peninsula Golf Course. Small 9 hole course, great for beginning golfers. Course now in best condition, maybe grass burned with heat, greens weren't too bad. For a mid- handicap golfer, a good place to practice. The young lady working in the Clubhouse for check-in was new (one week) but she was friendly and working hard to get everyone checked in... Big 5 stars to her. There was a small bar/food service available.

Larry, thanks for your thorough feedback. I mentioned in an earlier review, but will add again here that this winter we are working on an irrigation and drainage plan that should help keep the fairways green in 2019. We've also aerated the fairways and greens again this Fall, so we are expecting much better conditions. If you play PGC again, please leave us more feedback or fill out a comment card in the Pro Shop. We act on customer feedback.

Played with family on Sun and Mon. Nice course, only 9 holes. Didn't lose too many balls. Has a couple of long holes. A good place for beginners or those annual golfers who want to experience the thrill of making a good shot now and then, mostly then. Greens were in good shape. Some fairways were brown and very fast. Ate in club house restaurant. Gets busy on Sun afternoons. Very much appreciated the new flags for each hole and signs at start of each hole, a very nice look for the course.

Thanks you Jeff for the feedback. We've worked hard on tee signage, improving the conditions of tee and greens, and adding some fit and finish. This winter we are working on an irrigation and drainage plan that should help keep the fairways green in 2019.

We came here for lunch on a beautiful day, and had a wonderful time! Going out to eat with two small kids isn’t the most fun, and not every restaurant makes you feel welcome, but my kids loved it here. The pro-shop team was so great with my 4-year old, even had clubs his size to putt with! They always checked back with our little guy and found lots of ways to entertain him. We appreciated how friendly everyone was, the good food, and that we actually got to eat most of our meal while watching our son putt around. Thank you for a nice afternoon!

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. We've shared your review with the team. The Pro Shop was so motivated by the kids clubs comment that we've set aside several putters and golf balls on the patio so that kids (big or small) can have fun on the putting green while eating. We hope to see you again soon!
