LZ was an excellent choice to get out of Leavenworth for a few hours. My family and I have been on several zip lines around the country and this is one of the better ones. Mark and Tyler made the experience fun and memorable. Safety was key to them. We were given some history of the surrounding area and the family that owns the property. We wanted to do the 9-line tour but it was booked up and ended up doing the 5-line (1 hr 45 mins). The first two lines were on the shorter side. For the price, we wanted lines that were longer. Nonetheless, it was fun. The kids had a great time and there was a lot of laughing. There is a reason I put "ducking" in title. There is a challenge that I don't want to give away but was fun. There are also cabins on the property and they also can host weddings (COVID permitting) We recommend LZ and would return....... for the 9-line of course.

Leavenworth Ziplines were AMAZING!!! We were first met by Emilie who was awesome! She gave us insight about the town and provided us with some fun facts. This was my fiancés first time zip lining and she made her feel very comfortable and put a lot of fears to rest. She drove us out to the lines were we met Jason (Jboy) and Auggie (Auggie Doggie). Those two guys were just as awesome and walked us through everything! Each line we went through was so much fun and Jboy and Auggie Doggie are amazing at what they do! This was honestly the most fun we have had on our trip and we have had a lot of great times in Leavenworth. I can’t thank them all enough for that. If you are visiting Leavenworth I would fully recommend hitting up Leavenworth Ziplines you will NOT be disappointed!

This was FOR SURE the highlight of our summer trip. I only wish the Zipline tour was longer than 9 lines so that we could have gone for longer. Our tour guides were Jason and Tyler who were SO much fun because they were personable, conversational, silly, but still clearly attentive to safety at all times. Because of COVID, we were just a small group of our family of 4, but it made the experience feel extra special and memorable. Our favorite line was the duck drop and my boys (ages 9 and 13) loved the scavenger hunt part of trying to find the hidden ducks all along the course as well. Beautiful greenery and scenery and it was especially nice how shaded the course is, as we went zipping in August when the heat factor was high. My boys are already asking to go back. I would strongly suggest springing for the full 9 line tour, as the 5 line one seems like it would just be over too fast and you would be left wanting more fun.

This was my first zip lining experience and I’m addicted! I don’t believe another zip lining place could top this one. Everything is done for you. You literally get hooked in, touch nothing and fly! From the moment we walked in, Emily was phenomenal and so kind and funny. Jason and Auggie were so much fun on the lines and made me feel safe, as I was scared to death at first 😝 we’ve hiked Colchuck lake on this trip, pet reindeer, had amazing food, but this topped our entire trip! Please do it. It’s worth every cent!

This was the second time I had done zip lining and I had so much fun. There were 6 in our family including my husband’s parents (70 and 73 years old). It was his parent’s first time. It was also our 2 daughters first time. Everyone had a blast and didn’t want it to end. They had a 5 course or 9 course option and since the 9 course was sold out we did the 5 course. Next time we will do the 9 course for sure. What made the experience even more enjoyable was our 2 guides - Rice Krispy Treat and Wildflower. We all had nicknames labeled on our helmets and during the entire trip we used those names. I was twinkle toes and my husband was cuddles. So funny hearing the kids call him cuddles. The guides even had a competition going the entire time. They hid little rubber duckies all over the forest and you have to try to see how many you can find. The kids loved it. I highly recommend this for everyone.

They are all great. The front desk - guides just everyone. We had very adventuresome people and scared people. They made this experience great for everyone. The platforms are very stable, we felt safe 100% of the time. Thank you and we will be back.

Our guides were amazing. From explaining the process to getting us on the lines they were both professional, safety conscious and engaging. My wife was incredibly nervous about this and two lines in she had a grin plastered on her face that didn't leave until an hour after we had finished. I highly recommend this adventure. We can't wait to bring our granddaughter.

The experience was a gift for our three grown “kids” (two living in Puget Sound area, one visiting from NM) and thirteen-year-old granddaughter. We drove 3 1/2 hours each way one day for them to have excellent guides and the safest experience. Even the quietly “freaked out by heights” flyer was exhilarated and glad to have participated. It is not an amusement-park ride, and tickets are not inexpensive, but adventurers will love the experience.

So much fun! The two zipline guides (Pic A Nic & Augie Doggie) were super friendly and made the whole process fun and safe. 100% recommend this as well as the snowmobile tours offered through the same company. On the zipline tour - keep your eyes peeled for DUCKS!

Leavenworth Ziplines was awesome from beginning to the very end! Online registration was a breeze and communications with top-notch with automated reminders. Once we arrived, they seemed like they were very established and had good procedures. The jeep ride was great; I'm glad I didn't have to trek up to the first zip line! All the guides were very well versed in how to do things and safety procedures. Our two zipline guides were so awesome - again, very well trained, but also how they kept the conversation going. They were so friendly and enthusiastic! On our day, the weather was warm and sunny so it was the perfect day for ziplining. We all had a lot of fun but also felt very safe. I would very much recommend this to families, especially to those who are adverture averse! Would do again!!

How much hiking is required? We have one in our party that has more limited physical ability. Thanks!

How much is it per person? Is there a weight limit? And do we need to make reservations?
Written April 10, 2018
All that info is listed on their website, it wont let me post the weblink. You have to do the reservations on there too. They have 5 or 9 line ride to choose from, the 9 lines is worth it.

I have asthma and some compressed disk issues in my back. i understand that traversing the zip line doesn't put a lot of stress on the back nor create a lot of exertion for breathing. Are these both correct?
Written July 13, 2017
Like the previous answers I would talk to your doctor first. They do have a waiver.

My husband gets motion sickness (sea sick) on boats and spinning rides at amusement parks. Do I have to worry about him on a zip line? I'm pretty sure he has never been on one.
Written January 23, 2017
I get motion sick soo--- easily, but they were no problem for me.

We are on our way up to Leavenworth. Are they open on Tuesday?
Written October 17, 2016
Looking at their website I don't see any openings for Tuesday the 18th of Oct, but I do for Tuesday the 25th, I'd give them a call to check and see they may just be booked up!

How do you stop on when you are on the zip line.
I did this in mexico and you stopped with your gloved hand on the back of the zip line. It was hard to stop.

At Leavenworth Ziplines, you don't have to do any braking yourself. The guides do all the braking for you. I didn't wear gloves and was very comfortable and even zipped with my arms out like flying several times- fun!

Are there more extreme ziplines on the full tour or does the 5/8 tour have just as long ones?
Written May 18, 2016

The 5/8 tour includes 2 lines that are rated the best on the course! Line number 4 goes across a valley with sweeping views, 600' long, 190 feet above the valley floor.

This is a question for your 61-year-old participant: I'm 67, female, and in average shape for my age. Knowing what you do about the strenuousness of the climb, would you recommend the 8-line tour, 5-lines, or making my husband do it with the grandkids instead of me? If the initial switchback climb is the same for the 8 or 5-line tour, then I assume 5 wouldn't be any rougher than 8; however, if the 8 goes higher or you have to climb again, that's another matter. The grandkids are 13, so somebody has to go with them.
Thanks,
Carol
