This was a great scenery at night! There was snow on the ground and the kids were sledding down the small hill surrounded by beautifully decorated trees full of Christmas lights.

Simply wandering this street is fun because the buildings have interesting architectural details, and the shops are fun.

Our grandchildren sled down this in the snow and roll down the hill in summer They dance to the music in the Gazebo and if no music play there. We have had lunch on the steps in the summer. All of Leavenworthworth makes memories. Drive up ski hill and explore the Ski hill hill. Winter tubing and beginning skiing and... More

The Park was in very active use by kids doing sledding, families enjoying the holiday lights around virtually every tree. But bring lots of warm clothing, when we got there in early January, temps were 2 deg F in the evening and the next morning. I do a lot of photography and found that one must avoid breathing while operating... More

It's always pleasant to hang out at the Front Street Park. There's lots of entertainment, depending on the season. Even when it's off-season, this is a special place to just simply enjoy.

We always walk our dogs here before going cross country skiing. It runs along the river and is very beautiful in the snow. One of the few places one can do this in Leavenworth in the winter.

The park is very small and was being used by lots of sledders enjoying the snow and small hill. The most impressive part of the park was the view of the town and Christmas lights at night.

Thoroughly enjoyed the shops on Front Street. Many shopkeepers inviting you in, even if it's just to get out of the cold. I never felt like I had to buy something at every store, even though I did buy quite a bit while there. The side of the street with the shops is very well kept and not slippery. The... More

We visited Leavenworth the Friday before Christmas and we were delighted by the wonderful Christmas lights on display in the park. It felt like a Christmas movie, children were sledding on the small hill and it seemed like everyone in the town was walking through the park enjoying the beautiful lights. The mountains in the background only enhanced the beauty... More

Lots of shops to browse. The Kids had fun sledding in the snow on the park. It was great fun for all. Grab a bratwurst while you are at it. There are plenty of stores to choose from.
