The State Park is a little ways out of Leavenworth, but the drive was spectacular! The vine maples were bright red and the scenery along the Wenatchee River was breathtaking. The lake is in a picture postcard setting.

Yes, the seasonal camp store located in the south park has hourly rentals of SUP boards and kayaks, weather dependent. Good to call ahead first to see if they're open and renting.
